Established in 1977, Myers and Stauffer LC provides professional accounting, consulting, data management and analysis services to state and federal agencies managing government sponsored health care programs. From this experience in the ever-changing health care arena, we understand the demands policymakers face managing government health care systems. With 13 offices throughout the United States, our practice has assisted more than 35 state Medicaid agencies address complex reimbursement issues for long term care facilities, hospitals, home health agencies, federally qualified health centers, rural health clinics, physicians, pharmacy providers, and other practitioner providers. Our experience includes consulting on reimbursement systems design issues, defending reimbursement rates and audit findings from health care provider administrative and judicial challenges and performing data management and analysis services to assist our clients in better managing government-sponsored health care programs.

Our current practice includes working with public health agencies across the nation on various health care related projects, and with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on projects involving the Medicare program. Working with government agencies on health care related projects is the only major business venture for Myers and Stauffer LC. The firm's health care practice has attained a national reputation from our success working on a wide variety of health care related projects.
