Medicaid RACs will review claims for which payment has been made under Section 1902(a) of the Social Security Act or under any waiver of the State Plan to identify underpayments and overpayments and recoup overpayments for the states.

Minnesota NEMT Overview

The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) is working with Myers and Stauffer LC to conduct reviews of non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services for the Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP). As the NEMT contractor, Myers and Stauffer will review documentation for transportation claims billed by the NEMT providers and paid by MHCP in order to identify compliance with state and federal program requirements.
